This indenture made the eleventh day of May in the

year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and thirty

one Between John J. McCoy and Elizabeth his wife late of the Township of Providence county of Luzerne and

state of Pennsylvania of the one part and David Krotzer and Michael Benjamin of the Township of Providence county of Luzerne and state of Pennsylvania of other part witnesseth that the said John J. McCoy and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said David Krotzer and Michael Benjamin at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt and payment whereof they do hereby acknowledge it granted bargained sold aliened [unknown] released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien [unknown] release convey and confirm onto the said Michael Benjamin and David Krotzer and to their heirs and assigns all that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the Township of Blakely aforesaid and a saw mill being and banded as follows. Beginning at a stake the south corner of land lately conveyed by Thomas Depew and wife to Solomon Depew thence south or southerly to a stake near the Eddy creek to highwater mark Thence down said creek at highwater mark to a crooked pine Thence about a north course to a pine stump Thence about easterly direction to a Hemlock tree marked for a corner Thence about a southerly direction to a birch tree near the bank of said creek Thence to the place of beginning.

some more or less together with all and singular the houses out houses and edifices and buildings thereon erected and being and all ways waters water courses woods fences gardens minerals rights liberties privileges advantages herediments and appetencies thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the revisions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and also all the estate rights title interest use trust property possession claim and demand whatsoever of them the said John J. McCoy and Elizabeth his wife in law or equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or our of the same.
